Red spots, port wine stains and cherry angiomas are treated with both radio frequency and laser light. Using both technologies allows us to isolate and effectively treat the problem areas and leave the surrounding skin free from harmful side effects. Since most of these problems are both on the surface of the skin and also deeper in the dermis using both applications produces the best results. By increasing the radio frequency to target the treatment area we can decrease to laser strength; this decreases the chance of hyper pigmentation, burns and staining of the skin (these can often be seen with laser therapy alone). The added benefit of this procedure is; since we use combination energy, the radio frequency component (which stimulates collagen) helps to smooth the skin and allows the skin to appear tighter.

Does it hurt?
